THE AREA
Samoens is a traditional mountain village one hour’s drive from Geneva airport, and 10 minutes from the Grand Massif Express Lift. The town is located in the heart of the French Alps and at the heart of the valley of the Haut-Giffre, and has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants etc.
Being situated right in the middle of the Grand Massif, which includes the resorts of Morillon, Flaine, Sixt Fer a Cheval and Les Carroz, there is ready access to over 265km of pistes, between 700m and 2500m, covering one of the most spectacular skiing areas in the Alps.
This area offers excellent facilities for great holidays in both winter and summer seasons, with many winter and summer sporting activities available locally, together with excellent walking and sight-seeing opportunities.
