30.8.06 by email “just to let you know that we had a wonderful time at La Goulee. What a lovely property and what lovely people who live in the area. Patrick and Annette (owners) are both lovely people and although we did not speak much French we did manage to communicate very well. Patrick and Annette’s grandchildren also played with our children and they all had a really fun time. We cannot complain about anything at all and we will be returning to France again. If we are in the area again we will certainly pop in to see Patrick and his family, as Patrick did say that we were perfect tenants and he enjoyed having us stay there! We certainly enjoyed staying in his beautiful gite Thanks again for your help and advice on this holiday. We will most likely be in touch again for a future holiday as this one was excellent all round. bye for now, DM, JS & family.

“La Goulee was perfect. Patrick and Annette were lovely hosts and the house is clearly a much loved home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The girls swam everyday and would have swum all night if we had let them! The house toys were much used as they consisted of one of the best play kitchens we have seen and enough toy cars for a serious parking game. Thank you for organising everything at such a difficult personal time

What a fantastic holiday we have all had ! La Goulée is a great house and we felt very at home there. M et Mme Le C. were such lovely hosts and made us very welcome indeed. There are so many things to do and see. I am so glad that we have had the opportunity to visit this region and will certainly recommend it to our friends. It is just a pity that holidays pass so quickly. Hopefully we will have a return visit in the near future.

Note – the French owners, Patrick & Annette Le C., do not live on site at La Goulée, but undertake pool cleaning & maintenance there, so they are regularly around if you need an answer to any questions.
