THE GITE

The gite offers about 120m2 of living space. It is estimated that about 15,000 to 20,000 Euros would be required to complete the gite to the same high standard as the work already carried out.  Could be achieved for less if spec. was lower. This estimate would be based on 7-10,000 Euros on a kitchen; 1,000 Euros on second fix electrics; 2,000 Euros on laying floor tiles (full qty of tiles that match those already fixed will be supplied), plasterboarding/skimming 2,000 Euros; 1,000 Euros plumbing second fix; painting decorating 2,000 Euros; carpentry second fix 1,000 Euros max.  The main work has been done ie roof re tiled; all stone picked and refilled with chaux; ceilings all insulated and plasterboarded and skimmed; all internal walls built, first fix electrics and plumbing; all floors screeded and dpc'd; bathrooms installed; all windows installed.  It really requires finishing touches which could be done easily for 10k euros but double that to a high spec as is the rest of the gite.
