The property consists of 4 fully restored stone cottages all dating from about 1830, which have been fully restored to provide high quality year-round holiday accommodation.  The largest cottage is lived in by the owners and is set apart from the other buildings with its own, private, swimming pool. The other cottages are terraced and each cottage has been converted into year round gite accommodation, all sharing a second swimming pool. There are wonderful far-reaching views from the grounds in front of each property. 

 

All the properties have exposed dry stone walls with many exposed timbers and roof trusses. Whenever possible original features have been retained - the old beams and, in the Farmhouse, the stone staircase and mangers. The current owners have upgraded the wood burning stoves in all cottages. Ground floors are tiled whilst the upper floors are carpeted or finished with wooden boards.  The three gites are to be sold fully furnished.

 

The property has a well established rental track record and has welcomed holiday makers in the gites for the last 17 years.  The current owners have been in residence for the last six years.

The nearest village is a 1 minute drive and has a lovely bakery which doubles up as store and post-office and a fabulous garden nursery and school.  There is also a village 5 miles to the south which has a mini supermarket, butchers, post-office, electrical shop, hair-dressers, great bakers, flower shop, lovely auberge, bar and a weekly market and school.   A small town nearby, 10 minutes to the west, has a mini supermarket, butchers, post-office, electrical shops, hair-dressers, bakers, flower shop, two bars, an auberge, a weekly market and a school.
