and are currently housing Chambres d'hote rooms (B&B) and Gite apartments
One House restored, second House part-restored
More buildings still to be renovated
Land (including building plot) of about 1.25 acres in total.
Operating as a productive winery until about 1934, this property is in the process of being carefully and imaginatively restored to form an extensive Chambres d’hotes and Gites business. The renovation work is being undertaken with great attention to detail and using methods which retain the rustic charm of the original buildings (circa 1880) on the outside, with a touch of modern elegance on the inside. The needs of disabled visitors have also been taken into consideration. Two of the spacious barns have already been restored and converted to create chambres d’hote rooms and studio apartments, with some rooms en-suite and all air conditioned. A successful chambres d’hote business is already being run from these buildings plus the one house already converted. The business is run as a SARL (Ltd.Co.) – further details on request.

THE FOLLOWING IS A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY:
BUILDING 1
Barn conversion comprising 6 rooms on two floors, with a total floor space of approximately 182m2. Renovated in 2001 in accordance with ‘French Hotel’ standards. This means that, as the building and insulation materials used now comply with these ‘hotel’ standards, an upgrade from the present ‘chambre d’hote’ standard would be possible. In addition, all electrical installation and lighting now meet ‘Hotel’ requirements. The outside walls of this building have been plastered with a special yellowish sand mixture from a local mine, retaining the building’s original rustic character. This natural material is also more resilient than artificial colour additives. The walls themselves are original and in excellent condition. Made from local stone, their thickness varies between 30cm and 50cm. The wooden roof structure is also completely new and was again constructed in such a way as to retain the building’s rustic character. The roof is covered with composite plates, which are hidden by the original tiles. Zinc rain gutters have also been integrated into the roof structure.
