THE PROPERTY
This property offers the superb, commanding scenery for which it was selected first as a Roman camp over 2000 years ago, and in the 12th century as one of the Templar encampments in Roussillon. The oldest part of the buildings still standing today dates back to 1776, and the buildings have been constructed around a courtyard, one side being the two storey owners’ villa, the second the two storey hotel/restaurant building, and the third a single storey building with three en-suite rooms and a self-catering gite. The final side of the courtyard has a central gate, with ancillary rooms to either side. Above the hotel bedrooms in the main building there is a very large area, with attic above, partly converted to an apartment by the previous owner, currently used as a laundry room, which could be converted to further accommodation if required.
